WOOD BUILDING

Located in the urban surroundings of hectic Seoul, Wood HQ building showcases the power of purposeful design. It brings nature back to the city and speaks for itself of how built environments can make a difference in human behaviour and support our well-being together with efficiency.

Human orientation is the red thread of the design throughout the entire building. The approach reflects the space planning and biophilic interior, cherishing the innate need of us to be connected to Nature. The blend of haptic natural materials creates a balanced ambience supporting mental and physical well-being.

Private meets the public in the high-rise on many levels. The HQ building is a network of spaces from private offices to restaurants, cocktail bars, cafes and an urban garden in the skies to be explored. The space program of office floors answers our dual need for both privacy and interaction with each other. The floor plan enables private working space and spontaneous and organised meetings.

Experienced from outside of the building, the wooden interiors spread their warm and welcoming glow to the surroundings, making this building a proud landmark of the whole Gangnam district.
